Get Involved!

Youth Player

We want children and teens to have a wonderful time playing oarball and to put as little stress as possible on their family's checkbook.

Our youth league, the Fruit Piglets, is a casual league for children of all ages.

Players with a competitive streak may be interested in playing on our selects team, a free-to-play team that travels to nearby areas. Interested youth players will be notified by their Fruit Piglets coach if they have been selected for a selects team.

Youth Volunteer

Volunteers help keep our youth programs running smoothly. Whether that is organizing a carpool, bringing snacks for the players, or chaperoning children while they are doing community service.

All volunteers must be SafeSport certified.

Senior Team Booster

Boosters help our senior team function day to day. Any and all help is appreciated.

Senior players love a home-cooked meal to share after games, and they always appreciate snacks and drinks to take with them for away games.

If you have any skills that can help the team, such as sewing, woodworking, painting, or even massage therapy, there are ways that you can help the team with projects or make the Fruit Hogs a better team to play for.

Adult Player

It's never too late to get a new hobby and play a new sport!

Everyone is welcome to come to our pick-up games, a fun and free way to get into the sport. If you decide that you want to play more oarball, our casual league might be for you.

Athletes who want to compete and earn prize money may be interested in playing for our senior team.

Youth Coach

Coaches help guide their teams through practice, run learn to play sessions, and they may need to officiate youth games as well. They have an opportunity to shape children's lives by providing positive role modeling and important life lessons that can be taught through sport.

Coaches must be certified by the International Oarball Union and SafeSport. All of our youth coaches are mandatory reporters and volunteers.

Referee

Referees are vital to the operation of our club and to the existence of the sport itself. Refereeing is a good way to help grow the sport and to earn some pocket money while staying active. We use referees for all of our adult league and senior league games.

Referees must be certified by the International Oarball Union.

Donate

The Fruit Hogs can always use more help. We strive to keep all our programs affordable and we do not charge admission for our senior games.

If you have old equipment, especially cleats, we would love to give it to a new home.

We are always looking for non-perishable foods that we can use to support people in tough times as well.
